Daniel Biehl Biographical Sketch A graduate of the University of Miami, Dan focused his studies on organizational culture, training, and development. As co-creator and founder of the school’s business transfer mentor program, Daniel guided and supported new students during their assimilation into the UM School of Business and university culture. Before transferring to UM from Northeastern University in Boston, he volunteered as a campus ambassador and tour guide for perspectives students and their parents. Dan began his volunteering and employment path at the Orlando Science Center, involving himself in activities as varied and diverse as conducting physics and chemistry experiments for visitor edification as a Young Einstein; filming and producing OSCTV programs and educational videos; writing, directing and acting in performances as part of the Einstein Explorers Overnight Adventure Camp; and as an animal handler, particularly of reptiles, informing and educating guests about the importance of Florida’s native species. Daniel has always taken an interest in the human side of any experience and seeks opportunities to interact with others. In a short time, he has become comfortable in multiple settings, relying on his ability to assimilate into new environments. Dan hopes to integrate his enthusiasm for human interaction with his educational background to assist others in their acquisition and retention of new knowledge.
